What goes on a moving work order
The crew sheet is the move. Addresses, times, access and what is going are all on it, and the one thing it has to capture that nothing else does is what is not going — because the item left behind and the item taken by mistake cause roughly equal trouble.
- Both addresses, the start time, and the key contact at each
- Access: stairs, elevator, parking, permits, and any time restriction
- The inventory, room by room
- What is explicitly not going, and where it is
- Anything fragile, heavy or awkward that needs planning
- Where things go at the other end, by room
- Sign-off at delivery, with anything noted at the time
The sample line items and example prices this sheet opens with are on the moving invoice template — the same table, which is about the trade rather than about this paper, so it lives in one place rather than on all six.
What you get

A PDF, and a link your customer can open in any browser. Word and Excel versions are not available yet — if a spreadsheet is what you need, this is not yet the tool for it, and saying so is cheaper for both of us than you finding out after typing everything in.
Pick how it looks
Six looks, from a plain classic sheet through a bold top band to a shop ticket, and your initials go on automatically until you upload a logo. See all six.
How to send it
Most customers want the paper on their phone, so the work order goes out by WhatsApp, text or email, or as a link that needs no app and no account on their side. Or download the PDF to print it or keep it for your own records.
Questions
Why list what is not going?
Because it is the commonest error on a move and the hardest to undo. A customer who left a wardrobe for a friend finds it in the truck; a box of paperwork meant to travel separately ends up in storage. A short exclusion list prevents both.
How detailed does the inventory need to be?
Detailed enough to check against at the other end. Box counts per room and a list of furniture is usually enough for a domestic move; anything going into storage needs more, because the gap between loading and unloading may be months.
