What goes on a landscaping receipt
One-off clearances get paid in cash on the day, often by somebody who has just watched a trailer-load leave their yard. The receipt matters most where waste was involved, because the householder keeps a duty for where their waste ended up and the only proof they hold is what you hand them.
- The date paid, and the property
- What was done, and the area it covered
- Waste removed, by volume, and where it went
- Your waste carrier registration number
- Materials supplied, if any
- How it was paid, and whether anything is still outstanding
- Your business name and number
The sample line items and example prices this sheet opens with are on the landscaping invoice template — the same table, which is about the trade rather than about this paper, so it lives in one place rather than on all six.
What you get

A PDF, and a link your customer can open in any browser. Word and Excel versions are not available yet — if a spreadsheet is what you need, this is not yet the tool for it, and saying so is cheaper for both of us than you finding out after typing everything in.
Pick how it looks
Six looks, from a plain classic sheet through a bold top band to a shop ticket, and your initials go on automatically until you upload a logo. See all six.
How to send it
Most customers want the paper on their phone, so the receipt goes out by WhatsApp, text or email, or as a link that needs no app and no account on their side. Or download the PDF to print it or keep it for your own records.
Questions
Why does waste disposal need to be on the receipt?
Because the householder keeps a duty of care over their waste and the receipt is the only record they hold of who took it. Putting your carrier registration number on it costs nothing and protects them, which is also why a careful customer asks for it.
Do I receipt a regular round, or only one-off jobs?
One-off jobs always, and the round whenever it is paid in cash. A monthly round paid by standing order has a bank record behind it; cash handed over at a gate has nothing at all unless you write it.
